SoundThinking NYC Mentorship Program

Eljuri and 5 other music industry leaders spend the day educating, inspiring and mentoring a cohort of 40 students.
The STNYC Summer Intensive is free for New York City high school students to explore careers in the music industry. Over the past five years, Eljuri has participated in several mentorship round tables, panels and established a one day program where cohort members help to load-in, set-up, sound and lighting check a club concert. They shadow the professionals and talk about the different aspects of live music production. Through out the four-week program members participate in workshops focusing on sound engineering and production, music business and management, as well as leadership and communication skill-building.
